Kari arrived to M-E at the turn of the century with a brand new energy that the boys would soon learn they couldn't live without (right guys?). Prior to M-E, her talents were discovered by copywriter and creative director mentors while developing a wide variety of advertising and promotional materials for companies such as 3M, Imation, Jostens, Titan and Qualitone. She also ran her own graphic design company where she learned that freelancing on your own is - well, lonely.
Kari has an outgoing personality (an understatement according to Shawn), possesses an analytical mind, a crazy attention for detail with an intense creative vision and results oriented drive. This combination explains the success of the advertising creative that comes out of her department and why so many clients enjoy working with her.
No one enjoys wrapping their brain around a strategy and an objective like Kari does - it's a little obsessive really. When she's not thinking about gardening, painting, interior designing or plucking a new chord on her brand new powder pink Daisy Rock acoustic, she's thinking about how to get the biggest bang for the marketing budget buck.
up close and personal:
Kari considers her greatest life achievement thus far to be her seven best friends and two adorable nieces that adore her. She would tell you that communication is HUGE, so ya gotta have a lot of rich relationships otherwise it's "hello walls." Her hidden talent is cooking and baking which everyone around here enjoys until they step on the scale over the weekend. And her claim to rock star fame is belting out "SOS" by ABBA in the 4th grade, to the 4th grade while her duet partner stood paralyzed with stage fright.
